Consultation
If you are interested in counselling or psychotherapy, please contact me and we will arrange for an initial consultation.

The consultation will be up to 60 minutes in length. We will explore what brings you to counselling, along with your past and present life experiences. We will also establish if I can help you or if I recommend other areas of support.

I may recommend extending the consultation period to two or three sessions if this is required to fully explore your situation.
Following this, we can establish a format of therapy to suit your needs. This usually takes the form of weekly sessions, lasting 50 minutes in length.

I offer both short-term and long-term/open-ended counselling and psychotherapy. Short-term counselling focuses on specific outcomes or goals. Long-term psychotherapy offers greater time and space to understand the more unconscious aspects of yourself and work through any unresolved conflicts connected with your present difficulties.

If you are a new mum or have recently given birth, you may be wondering if you can bring your baby with you to the sessions. I generally recommend that you have the therapy space for yourself without your baby, but recognise this isn't always possible. We can discuss this in your initial consultation.

I welcome all clients irrespective of gender, race, culture, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, social background and family composition.

The consultation and all subsequent sessions are £65.
